BeforeThe Problem
Three different residues bond to glass differently from anything else on the car: combustion smog on the outside, hand grease left invisible under backlight, and an oily film the cabin itself releases over time onto the inside of the windscreen.
A multi-surface cleaner won't lift all three in one pass without leaving streaks. Glass needs chemistry tuned to it.

The Method
Step oneOnto the cloth, not the surface
Two or three short pumps onto a clean microfiber. Spraying directly on the glass risks overspray onto the dashboard and overshoot down the door card; spraying on the cloth puts the product exactly where you need it.
Step twoStraight passes, top to bottom
No circular motion — that's what leaves halos. Straight passes from top edge to bottom, flip the cloth to the dry side once it stops grabbing, then buff until the glass reads transparent.

Ammonia-free chemistry, calibrated to lift hand grease without etching anti-glare coatings. Dashboard touchscreen, infotainment cluster, head-up display, mirrors and aftermarket tint films — same cloth, same spray.

Step by step
Spray two or three short pumps onto a clean microfiber cloth — not directly on the glass.
Wipe the glass in straight passes, top-down. Avoid circular motion.
Flip the cloth to the dry side and buff until the glass reads fully transparent.
On inside windows, work from the corner outward so you don't trap mist against the dashboard.
Same pass on mirrors, tinted films and dashboard touchscreens — never spray directly on them.
On heavy off-gassing film, a second pass clears the haze without needing a stronger product.
